JU 14 1856 : The Spanish Postmaster in San Roque informed Edmund Cresswell Jr, the Postmaster in Gibraltar, that all future mail addressed to destinations within Spain would have to be prepaid by Spanish stamps (the 2d Gibraltar rate was more frequently paid in cash).
