1842 entire headed "Belize Honduras 13 April 1842" carried privately to Havana where identified with red 2-line ISLAS DE/BARLOVENTO (Windward Islands) and marked by forwarding agent in Havana as received AP 19 and sent AP 23, red handstruck "5R" charge mark.

1845 outer wrapper marked by sender "1 Jan'y 1845' (but origin unknown) to Isaac Cooke, Bristol rated 2/8 with manuscript "Belize 12th Feb. 1845, Forwarded pr. Sophie by Evans & Schurer" and landed with COVE/SHIP LETTER alongside COVE MR 28 1845 and BRISTOL MR 30 1845/F dbl-arcs.

1890 cover to James S. Webster, Bodden Town, Grand Caymans c/o W.H.B. Hitchins, 2 Lower George Lane, Kingston endorsed Schr Electra with Jamaica QV 1d Keyplate pmk'd SHOOTERS HILL A/NO 14 90 and backstamped Kingston 3 D/NO 15 90 squared circle. Peripheral faults but exceptional for showing both forwarding agent for Cayman Islands mail and named mail boat.

1873 registered cover with "FORWARDED BY/CRUICKSHANK & Co/AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND" sender cachet on reverse to Libourne, France with Chalon 2d orange, 3d, lilac, 2 x 6d pale blue tied "1" numeral obliterators with REGISTERED, AUCKLAND FE 15 7318 despatch, routed via ALEXANDRIE (7/4) showing full transit and arrival marks on reverse plus boxed French rate mark, reverse flaps opened for display. Exhibition item ex WOOLFE, HACKMEY (2006 RPS Certificate).

SPAIN/GIBRALTAR combination requiring Forwarding Agent, Gibraltar postal history (Ex MOELLER)
1873 entire headed "Cadiz 20th June 1873" to Poole, England with "p. Archbold Johnston & Power Gibraltar 24 June 1873" manuscript forwarding on reverse with GB QV 2d strip of three affixed and pmk'd "A26" with GIBRALTAR A/JU 24 73. No Spanish charge as sent in another cover to Gibraltar from Cadiz. Very rare as such, Ex MOELLER.
The Carlist Civil War caused intermittent interruptions to the overland route to the UK, and the maritime route from Gibraltar became a more reliable alternative but required the use of a Forwarding Agent in Gibraltar. (Of the Gibraltar/Spain adhesive combination covers currently seen 15 are ingoing to Cadiz, and only 4 are outgoing, all to Malta).

1882 wrapper on "Bookman Mills" wmk'd paper with "N. GARDES & Ca, Ciudad Bolivar" purple d/ring sender's cachet endorsed "p. Royal Mail" to Leipzig, Germany with Trinidad 4d grey tied TRINIDAD MY 27 82 cds locally applied and rated red "3" as top flap displays previously unrecorded blue chamfered corners framed "FORWARDED BY/SCHOCK BUNDSCHUH & CO/PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD, W.I." cachet which has sealed tear.

(que besa su mano - who kisses your hand) with KINGSTON FE 16 1843 dbl-arc transit addressed Federico Huth, London (MR 21) rated 1/-, address panel soiled which would display opened in inverted position.

January 1st 1851 printed circular from Kingston to London rated 1/- in black with MR 10 1851 arrival additionally showing circular 5/NEW YORK/FEB 26 and red framed MAITLAND PHELPS & Co/NEW-YORK cachet.
The circular 10/NEW YORK (half ounce mail) and 20/NEW YORK (under one ounce mail) are regular seen, but the 5/NEW YORK on printed matter very seldom seen on BWI correspondence.

blue in oval cachet on lower flap of 1861 cover from San Francisco p. Electra to Parametta, N.S.W. The agent affixed the 2d and 2 x 1d adhesives for the onward 4d inland rate between ½oz and 1oz. Cover a little aged etc but believed to be the only example of this rare cachet.
