"T.35" (probable re-allocation, office unknown), Trinidad postal history
1898 cover to Capt. Short, Richmond, Tobago with 1896 Seated Britannia ½d (SG.114) tied Type 0.9 "T.35" duplex dated reversed C/FE 7 98 (the top of the 2-digit numeral almost guess work) with Port of Spain A/FE 8 98 and Tobago inverted A/FE 10 98 alongside. Ex MEDLICOTT.
The 0.9 "T.35" allocated California, the office stated opened in 1881 with earliest extended cds known for JU 2 1886.

1883 cover to Dr. Cleaver, Montserrat with 1d in red on delightful colour 6d pmk'd JA 31 83, reverse with the numeral portion Type 0.9 "T.17" duplex and mirest trace of cds portion, seemingly originating at Couva and left to be cancelled at Port of Spain, no flap. Ex MEDLICOTT.

"T.9" (Mayaro), "T.10" (Manzanilla), a CONTRADICTION in DELIVERY, Trinidad postal history
(Type 0.9) Two QV ½d deep green newswrappers each addressed in the same hand to E. Legge, Mayaro, the earliest showing Mayaro "T.9" C/DE 30 84 delivery, and the second with much rarer Manzanilla "T.10" C/JA 16 85 delivery (17 days apart, 29 miles apart on the coastal road). Faults including worm holes. Ex MEDLICOTT.

1880 4d grey pmk’d 31/NO 30 1880 (Type 0.7, “1” not inserted) at lower left and left to be cancelled at Port of Spain with weak 0.4 “1” and Trinidad DE 1 1880 dbl-arc) to Mrs Percy Austin, Georgetown, Demerara being the short-lived under 300 mile rate (subsequently reduced to 2½d). Ex FORSYTH, MEDLICOTT.

"27" used MONOS, Trinidad numeral postmark
1882 use of "ONE PENNY." UPU Formula Post Card with added (1d) rosy-carmine to Master H.K. Collen, c/o Mr. Morris, Monos pmk'd Trinidad AP 7 1882 dbl-arc with Type 0.9 "T.27" duplex s/ways down C/AP 8 82 arrival, with added str. line "REGISTERED", str. line "UNCLAIMED", and Type 0.6 "27" being all four of the Monos instruments. Heavily soiled at left and cracked lower right corner (separated at one point but now reinforced with hinges). Quite the showpiece, Ex MEDLICOTT.
Reverse text headed 7-4-82 with "My dear boy, I hope you are enjoying the holiday - and that you are not giving any trouble. Be careful in bathing not be too troublesome. The children send love."

1901 use of QV 1d PSE with "Per Mail" (deleted) pmk'd Castries C/MR 26 01 to J.W. Elliott, Vieuxfort showing no code/MR 26 01 arrival, some opening tears at top.
"Loose" stamps show the "VF" code apparently not inserted period VF/11 FE 96 to VF/16 NO 99, and a second period VF/14 FE 01 to VF/FE 24 03.

An OC 7 1882 William Pix identical card is pmk'd "A10" with red ST. VINCENT cds but has suburb abbrevated "G" struck lower left corner.

Crowned "R" free re-direction within London, Antigua postal history
1887 use of QV 1½d brown UPU Post Card pmk'd "A02" to Edwin England, Southgate, London locally re-directed on arrival with Crowned "R" showing Antigua A/JA 21 78 (inverted 78) and London FE 7 87, full text.
Currently the only recorded example of use of the London Crowned "R" on Antigua QV period mail.

Two over covers (both damaged) are recorded with this boxed handstamp both also pmk'd Nassau C/AP 13 97.
