URUGUAY envelope used BRITISH HONDURAS
1931 cover to Manchester, England with KGV 4c, 5c, 10c pmk'd Belize 21 SP 31 with 3-line purplish "AIR FEE/prepaid to/New York only" and Air Mail sticker deleted by mauve jusqu'a bars, part recipients name blacked out.
Stated to have been posted by one of H.M. Cruisers from Belize when the ship was sent to assist the inhabitants after the disastrous hurricane which struck on the afternoon of 10 September 1931.

Black boxed 3-line "P.O./RECEIVED.(date) handstamp in combination with part BELIZE A/JU 7 cds (signifying some sort of post office combination use) on KGV 10c (SG.132).

BRITISH HONDURAS postal history
1888 cover with 10 CENTS on QV 4d mauve (SG.40) to Berlin, Germany pmk'd "O" obliterator in combination with BELIZE/JY 9 88 cds.
This stamp has a normal 9 months short life pmk’d “O” obliterator in combination with BELIZE/date cds (Proud D6 recorded MR 20 88 to MR 12 89, this being the earliest cover dated JY 9 88). The stamp has a longer life pmk’d “O” obliterator in combination with BELIZE cds (D7) from AP 18 89 until replaced by the 6c rate in March 1891.

pmk'd Belize NOV 11 1918 on the day World War One ended on KGV 3c WAR (SG.120), nice conversational display item.

BELIZE,/(date)/British Honduras postmark
(D18, introduced after Post Office fire of 17 August 1918), temporary 3-line dated (AU)G 19 19(18) on KGV 1c WAR (SG.119) with date-line 5½mm high (with possible differences in typeset of wording BELIZE).
Only two examples of the 5½mm setting are known both being dated AUG 19 1918. The other example ex Addiss on KGV 3c orange WAR (SG.118). The 5½mm setting was replaced by 3½mm setting (ERD being AUG 26 1918)

BRITISH HONDURAS stamps:
1895 QV 1c dull green (SG.51), used pmk'd BELIZE A/OC 8 00 with DRAMATIC MISPLACED DUTY PLATE, some short base perfs. Not as spectacular as the Leewards QV 1d bi-coloured keyplate (scan appended) but UNIQUE AS CURRENTLY THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE.

PUNTA GORDA, British Honduras postmark
unlisted by David Horry in his "Encyclopaedia of British West Indies Postmarks - King George VI" and part dated 2.00PM/-E 3 51 on KG6 50c (SG.158).
This example has been in my possession for probably 15 years or more. Ian Mathieson has the same postmark on KG6 25c (SG.157) which looks as if it might have the same date, the Mathieson example clearly shows "F" of "FE" month slug. Only two examples currently recorded
