ST. VINCENT stamps:
1916 WAR omitted and inserted by hand on 4th Setting 1916 KGV 1d carmine-red WAR STAMP (SG.124), fine mint showing the STAMP. portion in deep black, and the WAR portion in a distinctly different sheen of colour having been struck at an angle. (Scanned with normal for comparison). BPA committee not prepared to give an opinion. (Red scratch line through E of POSTAGE should identify sheet position).
This stamp illustrated Page 304 in the newly published War Tax Stamps of the British Empire by John G.M. Davis.

1977 Carnival, illustrated in two overlapping scans (as too large to single scan), showing top setting for 25 stamps, lower setting for 25 stamps, space for horizontal gutter. In the lower pane Row 4/4 the serif to top of 1 in 1977 clearly broken.

1884 use of QV 1½d Post Card pmk'd vertical "A10" (PML.7) written Kingstown 20/2/84 with early use red KINGSTOWN A/FE 28 84 (PML.36) despatch, minor edge soiling and creasing.
Only two other 1½d UPU Post Card currently recorded with red Kingstown "A" code cds (PML.36) for MY 28 84 and JY 31 84.
