1883 opened for display reg. mourning cover with superb intact UDA PUSSELLAWA/(crown)/POST OFFICE wax seal on reverse to The Vicarage, Fremington, North Devon with QV 4c rosy mauve x 3, QV 24c green tied "33" numerals with NO 9 83 PAID cds alongside, some faults.

1902 KE7 5/- green & carmine (SG.65, Cat.£80), a forgery believed to have been cleverly executed by the Belgian forger Smeets by bleaching out the design of used copies of the 1886 Ceylon QV 5c dull purple (SG.195) to a give a "blank" CA wmk P.14 stamp; only immediately given away by the indelible ink partial Ceylonese village cds ending in LA which could not be removed, added forged partial ST. DAVID'S cds thought dated C/JY 2 06.

1899 QV 5/- green & blue (SG.75, Cat.£170 used), a forgery believed to have been cleverly executed by the Belgian forger Dr Julian Smeets by bleaching out the design of used copies of the 1886 Ceylon QV 5c dull purple (SG.195) to a give a "blank" CA wmk P.14 stamp; only immediately given away by the indelible ink KURUNEGALA (Ceylon) and MR 24 95 dated cds which could not be removed.
Few examples show trace of original design in the value tablet.

Ltd. headed Paumben 3/5/1911 with combination India KE7 One Anna COURT FEE stamp and CEYLON KE7 5c variously signed etc. Reverse further 15 India KE7 One Anna Court Fee stamps, centrally folded (and will be mailed along fold).
Text reads: Received Rs 20/- from A.V. Moosa Nayena being quarantine deposit for deck passenger for Batticoloa for due submission to the inspection of the Medical officer at that port for the Require Number of days.
