MALTA VILLAGE POSTMARKS QV to KGV (443 illustrated combinations). Price £75
WIP-39 (sent worldwide by pdf): Very few catalogues have been produced solely for the pricing of postmarks probably because it is a complicated and daunting task. Firstly a particular cancellation may be very common on one stamp but of extreme rarity on another SG number. Secondly how does the price reflect the quality of the strike - full and superbly struck, partially dated if a date stamp, or just a sliver of the strike? To take all the factors into consideration all 443 combinations are illustrated and priced accordingly to quality and SG number. Better strikes will have more value, poorer ones less value. Obviously there are other combinations but as I have no scan, at present, it would make pricing difficult. Some collectors will be shocked at some prices but most of the illustrated have either been sold by me, or still available in stock. Information is very valuable and the price for this first attempt for pricing Malta village postmarks is £75 but two further free updates will be available as and when requested. Payable by UK bank transfer (note Barclays Bank account now closed) or by PayPal.
