PAID AT BARBADOES Crowned Circle 1849-1858, mainly illustrated (149 covers). Price £36

Being priced at £600 in the SG Catalogue one would be misguided in thinking these are rare (this little group supposedly worth £89,400 !!). 149 covers in chronological sequence with descriptions, mainly to the Rev. Hinds in Philadelphia but including examples to Antigua, Canada, Demerara, France, Guernsey, Ireland, Jamaica, Madeira, Martinique, Porto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Spain, and Trinidad, with provenance when known embracing 49 well-known collectors. Also later puzzling uses in black on Britannia "loose" 1d, 4d, 1/- denominations. Price £36 (no discount to trade or collectors) payable by PayPal or bank transfer (both Barclays and Santander accounts closed).

PAID AT BARBADOES Crowned Circle
in BLACK ink on 1875-81 1d grey-blue (SG.74), some soiling but unique on this issue.
Only three PAID AT BARBADOES are known in BLACK ink on "loose" Btitannia issues, the other two both with blue crayon "X" lines are on 4d crimson horizontal pair, single 1/- purple.
